Discussion: How we can be sure Benedict XVI resigned freely

March 6, 2025 (Steven O’Reilly) – A few days ago, I was interviewed by Christine Harrington on her podcast channel Eternal Life Plan.

On the show, we discussed my recent article that explains how we can be sure Benedict XVI resigned freely (see Pope Benedict XVI Resigned Freely).  The article examines (1) why the former Archbishop Vigano does not have credibility on the topic of whether Benedict resigned under pressure; (2) why the Vatican ATM shut off in early February does not point to pressure on Benedict XVI; and (3) the clear evidence Benedict resigned freely.
