April 13, 2023 (Steven O’Reilly) – If readers of RomaLocutaEst have not seen it already, please check out my recent article on Benepapism published on OnePeterFive. Titled “Whither Benepapism“, the article looks at some of the key arguments made by the Benepapists and provides a refutation of them. In addition, the article looks at an example of the Benepapists misreading source material such as the last audience on the question of the “always is also a forever.”
There other examples of Benepapist misreading and misinterpretation of documents which I have discussed in other articles (for example, see Regarding Benedict’s Declaratio, A closer look at Mr. Coffin’s evidence: Dr. Mazza’s Thesis 3.0, A Rebuttal of Dr. Mazza’s book on Pope Benedict’s Resignation and Benedict’s Last Audience: Ten Years After), as well as in my recently published book, Valid? The Resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. I have also put together a video series on many of these question which may be found HERE.
