Video Series Debunking Benepapism / BiP / Benevacantism

May 20, 2023 (Steven O’Reilly) – The Benepapists, also known as Bippers or Benevacantists, continue to propagate their errors via podcasts and books.  In answer to the challenge of the likes of Andrea Cionci, Ann Barnhardt, Dr. Mazza, Estefania Acosta, Patrick Coffin,  et al; Roma Locuta Est has provided a number of resources to combat Benepapism / aka BiP / aka Benevacantism / aka Beneplenism.

In addition to two comprehensive article series on the topic (see Summa Contra the BiP Theory (Why Benedict XVI is NOT the pope and The Case against those who claim “Benedict is (still) pope”), and a book (Valid?  The Resignation of Pope Benedict XVI); Roma Locuta Est has produced a video series addressing the key argument of the Benepapists.  If you haven’t already, please check out the video series:

  1. RLE Considers Episode 1: Introduction
  2. RLE Considers Episode 2: Munus vs. Ministerium (Part 1 of 5)
  3. RLE Considers Episode 3: Munus vs. Ministerium (Part 2 of 5)
  4. RLE Considers Episode 4: Munus vs. Ministerium (Part 3 of 5)
  5. RLE Considers Episode 5: Munus vs. Ministerium (Part 4 of 5)
  6. RLE Considers Episode 6: Munus vs. Ministerium (Part 5 of 5)
  7. RLE Considers Episode 7: Benepapism and Canon 17
  8. RLE Considers Episode 8: “The ‘Always’ is also a ‘For Ever'” (Part 1 of 2)
  9. RLE Considers Episode 9: “The ‘Always’ is also a ‘For ever'”  (Part 2 of 2)

We plan to continue to add to this series (e.g., “The Ratzinger Code”, “Apostolic Blessings”, etc).

Roma Locuta Est is a wee, humble blog – one which the world little notes, nor will long remember.  Unlike many Catholic and or Benepapist blogs, and Youtube sites; we do not seek – and we do not accept donations. If the you find these videos above helpful, please give them a “like” and “subscribe” — and then send the link to your Benepapist friends.  It’s time for this nonsense to end.
